FTI 277是一种抑制法呢基转移酶(FTase)的抑制剂(IC50 = 0.5 nM)。抑制全细胞的 H-Ras 和 K-Ras 加工(IC50值分别为0.1和10 nM)，破坏mapk的组成型H-Ras特异性激活。在人恶性胶质瘤细胞和许多其他肿瘤细胞系中引起显著的抗增殖作用。
