Sophocarpine是人类ether-à-go-go相关基因(HERG)抑制剂，IC(50)为0.2 mM。可以逆转异丙肾上腺素引起的心律失常并抑制I（Na），I（CaL）和I（Kr）电流。槐角果碱的电生理作用类似于胺碘酮，可能被认为是预期的抗心律失常药。
