Cynaropicrin是倍半萜烯内酯，最初是从朝鲜蓟（C. scolymus）中分离出来的，具有多种生物活性。它抑制SKOV3，LOX-IMVI，A549，MCF-7，HCT15和PC-3癌细胞的生长（IC50 = 1.1-8.7 μg/mL）。
